After hearing only horror stories about blasting oak beams, my partner and I were very wary about having our barn conversion invaded by men in space suits armed with menacing looking equipment! We were very fortunate to find Ed. From first contact to completion of the job, he was a pleasure to deal with. We asked him to do more work whilst on site, we were that impressed. The beams look great and now just need a coat of wax oil to preserve them and protect their lovely colour. My client had three quotes in to sandblast a building refurb I was Project Managing after external render was removed. We did not go with the cheapest, we went with Midland Precision because they knew what they were talking about and had all the requisite health and safety risk assessments in place. We had a living room with black beams and dirty open sandstone harth cleaned by Ed at Midland Precision Blasting. After horror stories of sandblasting, so we went for Ed and the soda blasting method. We weren't sure what to expect, but Ed was excellent, with first class communication and customer service leading up to the job, and meticulous when doing it. We now have fantastic stripped beams with all original detail intact, which would have been blasted away by sand. We would not hesitate to recommend Midland Precision Blasting to anyone, and will definitely be using them again to do other rooms in our house.

Ed responded quickly to our need to blast a pair of iron clock faces from our ancient church in a very tight timescale. He took great care with these irreplaceable items and the quality of the end result was first class.

A very delicate operation was required to be carried out on a light aircraft. the result was excellent. Ed stood by his quote despite taking longer due to the complexity and consuming more blast media.

Very professional service, I had a classic kit car blasted with a multitude of different types of material done, from steel, aluminium, brass to fiberglass. The soda left a protective coating on the steel chassis which still hasn't corroded a few months later. Essential, as I needed to do some fabrication work on it before painting it.
The fiberglass tub came out very well with no damage, essential as sanding/stripping it in the conventional way could have distorted the distinctive lines of the car.
A first class service, honest and knowledgeable about his work. Communication was excellent as well. I was kept informed all the way through the process via email and phone, especially when decisions needed to be made regarding small problems arose with the condition of some of the parts.
